Chloe's marriage was such a disaster, that she vows never to risk her heart again. James does not think he is capable of love and because of his has decided not to marry at all. They find that they have much in common as they as they begin to form a friendship that turns into a partnership as they search for the journal. There are some twists and turns surrounding the identities of those who are trying to stop them. It is pretty mild in the heat department, though there are lots of stolen kisses and a non explicit sex scene. I enjoyed James and Chloe's story, but not as much as the first book in the series.
I received an ARC via Edelweiss for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.
